A hard exterior and soft core? In our job it's the other way round: the core of many buildings and foundations really is rock hard, because it's made of concrete or reinforced concrete. It's our job to cut the reinforcing steel to shape, and then bend, weave and fit it into place with the necessary craftsmanship. This requires manual skills, an interest in technology and total precision. And because every core has an outer shell, we also produce and assemble the formwork for the concrete and the reinforcing steel.
